My work is inspired by seeking the beauty of our planet and exploring the unknown,
AND I NEVER MISS A SUNSET
1946pixels mission is to help others and make this world a better place through my passion for photography
Photography is my hobby, and I use it as a way to help other people and donate all the profits that I make out of it.
From the different products I sell, I collaborate with two NGOs: Educa Guinea & Bahadur Social Project.
The most popular product so far is the annual calendar; every year I create a calendar with a collection of 12 pictures from 1946pixels. Also, I started selling prints in 2022, and all the profits made from them are also donated.
You can check all the products in the Pixels Shop
Thank you to all of you that make this beautiful project possible.

My name is Pilar Argudo, and I am the one behind of this project called 1946pixels.
I have always been very attracted to the power of the image, and in a completely self-taught way, I have gradually tried to capture the beauty of nature, cities and people.
Photography is what inspires me to discover the world we live in. The camera is an exploration tool,
a passport to inaccessible places.
I am one of those who thinks that a tent is better than any hotel. Sleeping in nature, breathing fresh air and seeing the stars always makes me think of how lucky we are.
A backpack and my camera... I don't need much more!
